Aye. Right!

I most certainly do. North East Scotland. Wouldn't live anywhere else in the world. My village is big enough that people aren't in each others pockets, but small enough that neighbours keep an eye on each other. Happy medium. ♥ |

I'm another Cumbrian. It isn't bad at all! Some of the nicest countryside in England, and the best motorcycling roads on this island... This city (Carlisle) could be better though. |

came back to the place where i was brought up as a child and to be honest with i really hate it now, the crime rate is high, we are moving to the countryside this year, at least that might be better than city life. |

Isle of Wight - friendly on the surface.... extreamly unfriendly and unsharing bellow the surface.. A lovley place.... Some chilled out dudes.. But a very narrow minded community... With very little vision. |

I loved it until we got masses of Polish in the neighbouring town. I think it was because we were named as being one of the top "british" towns in the country so they decided to come here. We have a local Polish shop and even have a Polish aisle in the local supermarket-yet my friend is a coeliac and struggles to find food that she can eat in the same shop. It's all wrong, if it weren't for the fact that i love being so close to my family i would leave. AND to top it all off, I get verbal abuse at work from foreigners who can't understand me and they get shirty with me. Aaaaahhhh! |
