If you don't then "yes".

As long as you hold a current, valid EEC passport, which includes Great Britain, you do not need a Visa for Spain, just book, turn up, and go. Great country, wonderful people, fabulous food. Have fun.

i am off to madrid in october and i booked with ryanair. they said on their website that the spanish government require the names, type of id and number of said id for security reasons. i have no idea how to do this and have asked on here but from what i could make out people thought i was either mad or didn't know what a passport was. i will let you know if i find out anymore details.
