Bristol is nearer, about 90 minutes using the M5, M4 and M32 into Bristol city centre.
London would take around two and a half to three hours down the M40, depending on traffic. |

go on to AA road map and do a route planner for both journeys and that will tell you which is closest. |

i'm pretty sure Bristol but not totally sure..
i live in somerset - like an hour from Bristol.. and from where i am - it takes around 3-4 hours to get to Warwickshire which i THINK is in or near Birmingham...... |

I don't know what route you guys take but I reckon you'd do Brum to London in less than 2 hours so long as there's no hold ups on the M40. |
