Norwich is a nice place to live. The surrounding villages are very pretty and reasonably cheap so yeah i would say Norwich, Norfolk!!

You have all of the broads and culture and countryside which make it an extremely nice place to be and is still very modern and up to date!!!!

Good Luck

Tavistock, Devon thats where i live, its scenic and beautiful and cheap!

Norfolk looked like a rural idyll on a property prog the other day with London just a bit more than a stone's throw away.

Im going to say Kent too!! If you go out in the sticks you cant rely on public transport cos its rubbish but the scenery is wonderful and in general the schools are pretty good too!

We've just been to Wiltshire, around Bradford on Avon, and it is really nice. Don't know what the housing price is compared to Hounslow though.

Emma ♥ LFC.
I heard Middlesborough is a nice place to live

The one place you do NOT want to move into is Reading, it was voted the worst place in England to raise a family. Depends what you mean by "nice" if your looking for a safe place your best bet would be Oxford or Bath, or other places near the coast. London, Manchester or Liverpool=NO! hope that helped :)

Move to Surrey - very nice area. I live there. Lowest crime rate etc..
Surrey is in South East of UK. Also has good connections all over the country.
i.e. London.

It might be a little too expensive for you though I don't know.
