From Glasgow head west on the M8 and follow the signs the first turn off heads through the industrial estate towards the town centre and the second past the football pitches and uni's to the town centre, it is actually a lovely old town just outside Glasgow but gets a lot of bad press due to its rough housing schemes! No, I am not from there just being fair!

Too close to Greenock for my liking

Wouldn't like to live where anybody thinks it's a lovely old town comes from!

I might be a bit bias as I got hit on the head with a hammer in a fight there once.

A town just outside Glasgow. There is a train station in Paisley which is easily reached from Glasgow city centre. ( Central Station) Also well served by various bus companies to and from Glasgow.
