Yes, until I remember they are of limited intelligence and are unable to speak properly, then I just ignore it.

Not really. The worst annoying is a mate of mine who uses the word BUT in capital letters so as to avoid stopping speaking and continue his waffle about this or that. "and you know, BUT, them as what ain't not doing nuffink, innit, I ain't bovvered, yeah!

English is an entirely democratic language and people should feel free to use it as they wish, however crap they make it sound.

When I was a youth the annoying thing was to use "y'see" at the beginning OR the end of a sentence. This was superseded by "y'know..", so I'm used to such things.
I have to admit that "innit" is probably the most annoying of the modern ones.

The worst speech characteristic of all to have to listen to is the glottal stop, e.g "compu'a" instead of "computer". I can't believe that it's a natural accent, it's just being lazy.
That's as bad as people who can't be bothered to learn spelling (or worse, don't use the site's spell checker).

'Innit', not so much. 'Yeah' winds me up.

But what really annoys me is people saying 'yeah' or 'no' at the end of questions. 'Do you know where this is no?'

I've only ever tried once to tell them they'd just answered their own question and the blank look I got...I genuinely think he'd no idea what I meant. Beats me...

Sometimes it does... I find myself saying Innit at the end of some sentences now and I'm not even English, I'm Australian (innit!)!

it doesn't annoy me so much as amuse me ... they think they're being so hip and so cool but they just sound silly and unintelligent

I know, it does my head in. I hate it the most when people say "innit" after telling you something that you didn't know. I work in a shop, and this guy was looking at earrings for his girlfriend or something, and he said "I'll come back for them tomorrow, 'cause i haven't got any money, innit!"- like i knew he was broke!! arrghh!

Don't mind if people say yeah, because they are looking for re-assurance that you are listening to them.
But.. innit.. it annoys me so muuuch!

I say 'at the end of the day' quite abit but I don't see that as slang.
I hate it when people say 'init' or other ridiculous slang terms.

It was like a cool thing to say when we were younger (I'm 18 now), but I was one of the nerdy kids (still am :)) so I used to correct everyone. Innit dough!
