Glasgow of course! I would visit The Science Centre, Transport Museum, Kelvingrove Art Gallery and The IMAX during the day. At night there are fantastic restaurants, pubs and clubs to keep you entertained.

You can choose one and then visit the other - so it really doesn't matter much.
Trains from Edinburgh to Glasgow run all day every fifteen minutes and its only a forty minute journey.
So find a good hotel deal, take it and then visit the other city for one of the days
Best of both worlds that way .....

Glasgow

Because the people are much more friendly, people in Edinburgh are snobs.

I'd go to the Science Centre during the day and at night go clubbing !

Edinburgh theres lots to see there like the Castle, Holyrood, Royal Mile and some really goor places to eat and great pubs.

redwhiteandblue.
both have so much to offer.i live in edinburgh but am in glasgow often.i would say visit both.they aint that far apart.

To be fair, Glasgow has a couple of great art galleries.
Period.

Edinburgh is generally accepted to be the best place to live in the UK and is an important all year round tourist destination.

There is a lot to do in Edinburgh. I would start at the castle and do the Royal Mile.
Buy the Time Out guide and study it.

There are too many good restaurants in the Edinburgh. Glasgow is known for the fried Mars bar and having some of the worst food in the UK.
Edinburgh is also a safer city than Glasgow.

I have lived in Edinburgh, which is pretty nice. But Glasgow where do i start i love it and the people in Glasgow are so much more friendlier.

It is true "Glasgow really smiles" and is cheaper for shopping. Edinburgh is more "posh" and multi cultural in glasgow what you see is what you get. True honesty! No strings!

Glesga, I would spend my time looking at the way things have changed since I was stationed at RNAS Abbotsinch during the fifties, long before it was Glesga airport, & the patter of the Glesga Fowk is the best in the world.

Glasgow without a doubt , it is my home city and always holds my heart, i would go visit some friends and go to kelvingrove park if its not raining, then out for some drinks, dinner , more drinks and maybe some more drinks then stumble home .

Lots to do in both cities. I would say the Glasgow people have a much better sense of humour.
