I live in England. But I have also lived in Germany, France and America. But England has a special place in my heart. I love the weather, all four seasons, the scenery, the heritage, culture and of course the people.
What more could you want from a Country? |

I like England! We might have a weird PM but would you want to live anywhere else, in countries where women don't get a say or where children don't get an education. I love England. |

I am from Singapore! And I have been to many parts of England while studying at the University of Manchester. England is beautiful, it's interesting and there are lots to do and lots to see. I have also been to York because my cousin studies there! :)
I loved Oxford and the Lake District especially, and that's because in my country there is little in the way of nature because there are too many buildings here. England was one of my favourite places, apart from some other countries in Europe.
I love England! I think it's beautiful and lovely, and I think that most of the people I met there were great too :) |

Yes love England.
I live in an average town but I still love it. Im only 13 btw. The rain is horible and we get loads in the spring/summer time. Its been freezing cold for the last month here not really raining just snowing and frosty every day but only really light snow.
England and all the UK has loads of history and beautiful countryside. Some people dont know that, but the UK is actually extremly beautiful, beautiful coastlines and forrests. And of course amazing shops. And of course the best place in the world LONDON:D |

Moved here three years ago, was supposed to stay only for the gap year, but hey, still here:)
It's all right, maybe except for the gloomy weather. IF you want to live in any of the larger cities (i'm in london) make sure though you go and visit other parts of the country - seaside and countryside can be stunning! |

I love England, moved here from USA and I do not regret it best thing I've ever done. I went to Newcastle university studied medicine, and now I'm a junior doctor in Somerset. I don't know why people moan about the rain (what rain) because it hardly rains here. Over in the US it's a nightmare you get robbed and assaulted every 5 minutes, my Mum/Mom in the states is 63 and she was punched in the face after she confronted people in her house. everyone in the states carry guns and weapons here they carry smiles except from the "chavs" |

Yeah I live in England and I love living here I mean I guess it's just where I live I love because I live next to the sea and the forest, we have two big towns near us, one is 3/4 an hour bus ride and the other 1/4 hour train ride then we are only 1hr and 1/2 train ride from London, but anyway I love England. The only bad thing is the whether because where I live it rains/is freezing like 360 days of the year. Never snows and is onlt hot sometimes in the summer but I don't really mind. |

WTF James B,! You probably lived in a shi***y part of town.
Dont blame A country that's 20 times bigger than england, for the crimes commited in the Las Angelouse getto!
In all honesty Englands just an older version of the U.S. and the U.S. Is just a younger version of England. I do love London though. I love the diversity, and the people. I like the architecture, and the fact that sometimes ancient ruins appear out of no where. The english country side Is beautiful. |

I have lived in the UK most of my life. I was born in London. Its very interesting place to visit. There is loads of history in England. There is also nice country side and beaches that are well worth visiting. The weather is not great in the winter months, but we do get some nice weather in the summer. It can be an expensive place to visit if you don't choose your accommodation carefully. My advice would be choose where you want to visit, then look up B&B's in the area. |

It's all such a rip off - that's the biggest single problem. While our sallaries have not come close to doubling in the past 15 years, the price of things has. Trainfares which used to be £15 are not £33 (and will go up next year) a house which cost £80,000 now costs £230,000. And its the same everywhere you look - beer, eating out, cigarettes - only flights have become cheaper, and yet we still have the most expensive airport tax in Europe. Other cultures seem to have a much better standard of living (I've lived in Italy, Spain, Holland, France and Germany) while in England, huge profit is the only concern.
I am coming back to the UK for Christmas where I will not be able to see all my family over 25th, 26th as there is no train or coach service on those two days - the only European country without - the government harps on about being green but the true message is clear "If you haven't got a car, f*** you."
It's a shame because I miss the BBC! |
