Ha I think your Funny!!! I bet your just sitting back watching them all bite!!

The English really do think they are high and Mighty They love bringing up the fact they used to rule most of the world but they obviously forget the fact the raped killed and pillaged to get it No wonder the country is over run with crime now they are going back to the way they were then it's in their blood!!!!

I'm english and i have not forgotten him,and lets be honest were we not as bad as each other? anyway that was way in the past so can we not forget?I love Scotland and i married a Scotsman so why do you want to rake up the past, there is enough trouble about us without us bickering as well

LadyMoonlight!!
Grow the feck up man!

And stop watching Hollywood BS with Mel Gibson in it.

Watching Braveheart for an accurate understanding of medieval Scottish history is like watching Teletubbies to gain an in depth understanding of world political affairs.

Stick to Balamory, thats probably about your limit.

PS I'm Welsh and couldn't give a toss about William Wallace.

Didn't he get hung drawn and quartered? for rebellious antics? or was that just artistic licence used by Mel big head Gibson? in that stupid film break heart.

Sir Willliam Wallace
For those who don't know Sir Wallace
Sir William Wallace (c.1270–23 August 1305) was a Scottish knight who led a resistance to the English occupation of Scotland during significant periods of the Wars of Scottish Independence. William was the inspiration for the historical novel The Acts and Deeds of Sir William Wallace, Knight of Elderslie written by the 15th century minstrel Blind Harry. This work is more of a novel than a biography and is responsible for much of the legend encompassing the history of William Wallace. The film Braveheart is based upon the novel.

no laddie ,you're freedom we can ney take,
but we can take the victory whenever we play ye at football, and though ye hate us we cheer for thee, when you do win a game.
Or so my great ,great, great gandad 's, grandad's son tells me,he tells me everyone cheered for the scots that day in 1743, when they beat the isle of man 1-0

Why would England be bothered with a medieval Scottish criminal? Time has moved on now but it appears it is the ONLY thing Scottish people can say about Scotland... WOW... and to the silly little girl who suggested English people raped, killed and pillaged, that was the trait of the Vikings you un-educated idiot. Or are you suggesting every other invading force in the world or overseers of pathetically inept countries are all perfect and polite... SHEESH...

But, back to Scotland, they seem to have a bee in their bonnets about the English. I really don't understand why so many of them are so racially intolerant.......

I remember him. He looked a bit like Mel Gibson, didn't he?

What freedom? England rules you from Westminster and placates you with a virtually powerless Scotish Parliament while all major decisions are made at Westminster.

Who decides on your taxation, VAT, EU issues?

salforddude
It wasnt a Scottish film company who made Braveheart, because there arent any.Once again it was the loathesome septics who funded this travesty of history
Wallace was barbaric, and had his enemies tortured, skinned and wore one as a sword belt

Oh yeah i remember him, heres how the English killed him

He was dragged through the streets of London to a gallows erected in Elms in Smithfield. Where after being hanged for a short time he was taken down still breathing and his bowels torn out and burned. His head was then struck off, and his body divided into quarters, the punishment known as 'hanged, drawn and quartered'. His head was placed on a pole on London Bridge, his right arm above the bridge in Newcastle, his left arm was sent to Berwick, his right foot and limb to Perth and his left quarter to Aberdeen where it was buried in what is now the wall at St. Machars Cathedral.

what a hero he must be.
