Hi. So you are moving to my home town. Welcome. Chelmsford is fine - pretty steady sort of a place with a few music clubs, at least one catering for the under 18s. The shops are good and there is a covered market several days a week.. It has a swimming pool and ice rink and there are sports clubs dotted around. Plenty of pubs (mostly modern) and a lively town centre weekend nights. There is a reasonable choice of places to eat. Chelmsford is a pretty safe place though, like everywhere, it has its petty crime. The town has several extremely highly rated schools and several others that are very good in their particular field. It is home to Anglia Ruskin University plus a college of further education. The train to London takes just over half an hour and passes the 2012 Olympic site. Stanstead airport is 35 minutes away by car. The town has grown out of all recognition since I was born here many years ago. Most new people like it but, for me, the rapid growth has changed it too much. We don't know your particular interests so it's hard to know what to tell you. It's not a bad place. You'll like it.

theres loads of places to go in chelmsford and theres always something going on :)
oh by the way don't listen to the stereotypical view of essex.
tbh there's sluts, chavs and gangs and stuff everywhere you go, not just in essex.

hahahahaha are you serious? It is possibly the absolutely most tackiest festering pit of chavdom where giant hoop earing's and huge CZ studs adorn the wing nut ears of women and men. Fake Burberry and leopard print are a must.
Good luck OI OI saveloy lol hahahahahaha
