From which country, would you say, are immigrants most welcome to the UK?

I would welcome all immigrants that come to this country to settle here and therefore take the trouble to integrate into our society. After all this is surely why they come here isn't it? They must have been attracted by our way of life in the first place. Historically when we have emigrated to Oz, Canada etc we have become citizens of our chosen new country and settled into our new way of life. If we have not liked what we found then we have come back to the UK. Language can be a huge barrier to settling down as I believe many UK immigrants to Spain and France have found to their cost.

White English speaking countries, I suspect. But, the flow in that direction is not heavy.

United States of America, the Americans' are our cousins.

Rose
Probably the Chinese, or the Australians since they don't seem to cause any trouble and are happy to work rather than look for handouts.

And some of the Eastern Europeans (though not the ones that want to set up brothels!!).

Artic is so right. All those immigrants coming over here, we've hardly got enough money to pay benefit to our own workshy spongers! ;-)

Say all who can work hard, Because as far as I know history says that British people are all businessman. So they like managing jobs rather than doing themselves and they have been using people all over the world to work for them. SO any one who can work for them is welcome in UK.
