NOT SURE, WE SHOULD BE WORRIED AND IGNORE THESE PRATS. THE NAIL CAR BOMB TO ME REMINDS ME OF WHEN THE BNP BOMBED ENGLAND IN 1999. IT WAS A NAIL BOMBING AT A GAY BAR AND A BENGALI AREA, IT KILLED 3PEOPLE, INCLUDING A PREGNANT WOMEN, AND INJURED OVER 120.

Oops
It does appear possible that the two incidents are linked although as yet we don't know. What we do know however is that we survived the blitz during WW2, we survived the IRA mainland bombing campaign, and we survived the more recent tube bombings in London. Nowadays we seem to be in very troubled times with fanatical terrorists trying to disrupt our way of life. One reply on here is either a nutter or a misguided Muslim, we cannot do anything about that. What we can do is simply carry on as normal they only frighten us if we let them. Bulldog spirit I believe they call it. We shall not be moved.

No the fanatics wont beat us Hitler tried , all these Bombers should go into a deserted field and blow themselves up ..... They are all going to Hell anyway whats a matter are they to thick to no this ,,,,,,,,.

kenjinuk
you should not panic, people here have such short memories! The act of terrorists is to disrupt everyday life and the more you let that dominbate your life then the more they have won a victory. Did you not think about the Birmingham pub bombs of 1973 or the IRA damage in London during the last century ??

If it is connected to the attempted London bombings of yesterday, it means that there simply are people out there who wants to damage the very fabric of our society, what Britain stands for and hurt, maim and kill as many of us as it takes to sensationalise their cause. As a nation, we cannot allow that to happen nor can we allow these people to live amongst us in their apparent peaceful co-existence. As to your exact question, thus country is being infiltrated by these hardliners, radicals .. call them what you like. Their one mission in life is to hurt us and I fear what we will wake up to next. However, they are very mistaken in their cause and beliefs and their resolve to carry on regardless. They forget that the British people are much more powerful in understanding and resolve than they will ever be. But we must be vigilant and every one of us is responsible to be so.

Martin
It means only the stupid terrorists are left, all the ones who could actually make bombs that go off have already blown themselves up. So thats good news I suppose.

Hi Brilliant Pomegranate, What it meas for us in the UK is - Business as Usual hopefully. The people that do this are a minority and a bl**dy nuisance. The average man-in-the-street can do nothing - except keep his eyes and ears open. The IRA were on our backs for years. The government of the day pushed us into this. The Western World needed an "enemy" after the collapse of Soviet Russia, and there was Al Quaeda - just waiting in the wings what a coincidence

littlebethan
Not a great deal. We can all stay at home just in case we're going to be blown up. No-one died so it was probably a couple of idiots. It wasn't a intricate plot was it?

MICHAEL P excellent answer and i agree with everything you say.
I think those of you who are blaming all of the same culture must sit back and think. These people are winning if we start arguing amongst ourselves. We must all stick together and be vigilant.
