Not London - the Metropolitan Police tend to shoot unarmed Brazillians (less fuss than shooting Muslim terrorists). |

If I was you I'd stay where you're happy. London is a lot more expensive, a lot colder, no beach and has a lot of unhappy people. |

London is awful. It's a horrible place. There are some great cities in the UK, London is not one of them. |

Oh god dont! lol, TRY the other cities like Manchester, Glasgow, Bristol, Cardiff or some other major city. I am from Cardiff and thats a city which is rapidly changing and is becoming a major European Tourism and Financial. At the moment the population of the city on its own is only 317,500 but check out the growth rate, its grown by 25,000 people in 5 years. As one New Yorker said to me these days Cardiff has got everything London has but just smaller and not so busy thats why so meny people are moving here! i personaly think its a great city, Tony Blair also said Cardiff is a good example of how cities should be in the UK. Were also very friendly. |

If you enjoy being crowded, cold, rained on, ignored, overcharged and taxed till you squeak then move to London! I'm sure there are *dozens* of nicer cities in the world to work in. London is OK for a tourist visit but living there is a whole different deal. |

Go to London on holiday and enjoy it..but dont go to live and work there, London is full of people, there's so much traffic, its expensive and not worth it.if u'd like sth new, just pick up another UK city, provided you're ready to live without the sun most of the year.. bye! |

Stay where you are. I was born in London but now living in Ireland. I would only go back for a holiday to see family and friends but other then that I would not go at all. The other answers are right in what they are saying. Life is completely different in London and you will not like it. I only have an interest in it cos I was born there but I wouldn't live there anymore. |

It's up to you - but you have to remember London is only nice in the centre. Even when you're driving through you can see how ugly it is, and until you reach the central shopping centres, world known landmarks and exquisite buildings you don't understand who on earth would want to live there. There are nicer areas outside the city, but even though these aren't in the centre they cost a fortune to live in.
Cardiff is a nice city - it doesn't have as exciting landmarks and is not as big, but there is plenty of work, and it is a generally more consistent city. No wonder - it's much easier to keep a much smaller city tidy.
I can't really advise on much else in the UK - there are loads of nice cities to live in! |
