day1; warwick castle. day2 Stratford. Day3 birmingham city centre (sealife centre, bullring, canals, theater trip). Day4 Lickey hills (walking). Day5 Birmingham city centre (thinktank, imax, jewelery quarter). Day 6 Sutton park (walking). Day 7. Bull ring final shopping trip ! other options include black country living museum, birmingham cathedral, art gallery, aston hall ...the list goes on ! Enjoy your trip... send me a postcard !!!

Go to the black country museum that's worth a visit but unless you have a specific reason for going to Birmingham i would travel the 30 or so miles to the iron bridge gorge area of Shropshire it's got great countryside with plenty of walks, there is some fantastic museums and historical sites and try Shrewsbury for shopping, where ever you go have a nice time.

The Black Country museum is a must. Nearby is Dudley Castle and Zoo. Plenty of canals to explore. Personally I like the Black Country - I think it's fascinating. Wonderful pubs and beer if you like that sort of thing. Much more interesting than Birmingham!

Great place to choose at this time of year. We have a campervan, and this time of the year we prefer the city break. Don`t know much about Birmingham though. The first place we always visit in a unfamiliar area is the local Tourist Information Centre, although I think there`s a Transport Museum at Wythall. Have a good time!

Eh thats sounds so good!! can I come???

Not!!! I would rather go to Suffolk and take a chance with bird flu than go to Birmingham! ;-)

Well.....you'll get best part of a day's shopping in. The new Bull Ring centre is very good.
There are lots of canals to walk along (apparently Birmingham has more miles of canals than Venice).
There are a couple of museums/art galleries.
But apart from that....
I'd head out to Stratford upon Avon or Warwick.

(Take no notice of the last comment. There's a MORRISONS by the M6 near Walsall, junction 9. Not Tescos)

Iv got one DON'T GO TO BIRMINGHAM , if you have a camper-van y not go up north Scotland or down to Cornwall better still go over to France! that's what i would do anyway.
