Glasgow is a pretty cool place. Pubs and restaurants and good, and if architecture or shopping is your thing you will enjoy. People are friendly too.

Enjoy your trip!

you should go see the burrell collection and def jump a ride on the clockwork orange (tube) to the west end get off at hillhead and go down ashton lane for a few drinks or a wander round the botanic gardens if its sunny. Cafe Andaluez is amazing on cresswell lane!
on the south side shawlands is a nice area with nice cafes and wee shops, a must is ice cream from the brooklyn cafe at shawlands cross!!

oooooh you ahve to do the subway challenge.....you get on the tube and stop at every stop go to the nearest pub ahev a drink then move on to the next stop.....make sure you do ibrox, kinning park, cessnock, sheilds road section early....can be a bit scary at night!!
hope that gives you a few ideas!!

if your staying on the south side there is a few places of interest in that area, one is the Burrell collection this is in a beautiful park with a museum and resurant, there is also hampden football stadium, and pollock house. shawlands is the place to be when you live in the south side and has something for everone regardless of age, tusk, jam, the shed etc. for shopping you should go a drive to glasgow fort, and braehead and the city centre. if your looking for excitment there is the new xscape centre at breahead. other places outside the southside include the kelvingrove museum and rennie mcintosh's house. loch lomand and the trossachs are also only about a half hour away. have fun and i hope you dont get stabbed (if you do avoid the vicky) lol x
