Here in London it's another bright sunny day. We're expecting about 25 - 27C by early afternoon; that's 80 - 84F in olde English measurement.

There was a photo of Brighton beach (Sussex) in my paper a few days ago - apart from there being no one in the water, it may as well have been an August Bank-hol, never mind the May-Day.

Here's how I wish we celebrated May-Day here : . . . .

We have a law here in souther Nevada that prohibits fog. We can only have sun, full sun or super hot sun...and I think we are allowed two days of rain (but only if it is off and on showers)....right now it is tonight and we have a half of a moon.
I have relatives that come from somewhere around Yorkshire but I have never met them

And we have laws against having mosquitoes too

North Norfolk (coastal town) is bright and sunny, quiet breeze and the ice cream parlours and Chippies are going to make money today!

NOPE, here in Yuma Arizona, usa, the sun always shines, it is dry desert climate, and years back when, the signs in the hotels, said, "free room and board, everyday the sun doesn,t shine in YUma"" they were pretty sure they would not be losing business, the sun shines here almost 365 days a year. and the stars are out and shinning, so good morning to you, foggy and drizzly, "and the blasted English drizzle wakes a fever in me bones
