Good things about Wales? |
I can think of Dylan Thomas, and that bobsleigh run thing that used to be on the Great Orme. Seriously dangerous, that was, don't know if it's still there. Are there any more?

Er, umm, er let me ponder.
Wales..
Ah, there was the night of trying to knock tent pegs into slate, amongst sheep dung whilst it was grey & raining.
That was made more memorable by Jones the Butcher running out of bacon & sausages the next morning, as Jones the delivery man was "probablly still in the local"
Then there was the bloke at a petrol station in some God-forsaken village. Me with soggy sheep-dunged map on the roof. Pointing.
"Ah, don't know boyo, never been out the valley.
Hopeless tourist guide !
We gave up, turned around, and ended up at Glastonbury in the hippy truck thing.
So I have yet to find a phrase such as "Wales - lovely place"
No wonder Dylan was a tad depressed at times.

Killer Whales hunt Great White Sharks don't they (aren't they their only predator?), so that's a good thing about Whales.
Seriously but....not really familiar with Wales, though I am sure it is a very beautiful country. When I think of Wales I think of Tom Jones, Shirley Bassey, the girl who reads the weather reports on TV whose hubby ran off with the Cheeky Girl, and then you have the ridiculous like Male Voice Choirs, Charlotte Church & Sir Harry Secombe. |

Snowdon,the countryside, farming, the beaches, castles, the Welsh language,old fashioned Christian family values, eisteddfodau, Portmeirion, ospreys, red kites, choughs. The Great Orme has been stolen...(only joking).there are many great things about Wales.One problem..it's too close to England. |

South Wales definitely has the best bits from Pembroke coast, Tenby and along to my favourite ( I live there) the Gower coast. Swansea and Mumbles for your night life, Llangenith for the best surfing, Three Cliffs Bay the best walk to the best beach and there are hundreds of other beaches and coves just for you. |
