HOLIDAY HELP PLEASE !!! UK ONLY?
Can anyone please let me know were I can find good quality suitcases
- like extra baggage space lightweight and wheels
i've looked everywhere and they all way above budget like £195 ! I got a really good samsonite one for £40 but the shops closed
and I dont know where else to look
Please say the name of the shop or website
Don't make mistake that I made though & buy a really really big one that was "lightweight" so I could fit as much as possible in the one suitcase (thought it would be easier) - every time I've used that suitcase I get charged "excess baggage" because each bag has a maximum weight allowance - especially at East Midlands. Grrr. (Don't know why them but they really really toe the line...I managed to fly 3 flights with same bag, no-one batted an eyelid at my slightly heavier bag until I got to East Midlands flying back to Edinburgh). Apparently just because you have a family allowance of 60kg, doesn't mean you can split it between 2 bags; max 20kgs EACH BAG (or thereabouts....depends on the airline) . So you might be better going for smaller bag that you won't accidently fill to more than 20kgs.
Happy Hols!!!!

Don't laugh but primark do a good cabin luggage sized hard plastic trolley case for £20.
carina
IKEA do a neat cabin-baggage size collapsible suitcase ... maybe not the best quality but I think they're only about £10
