Well I'm English but with some Scottish ancestry, so I am putting both hands up, one for England and one for Scotland.
That said, I have spent loads of time in both Ireland and Wales too, so I'm also sticking both legs in the air... lol |

Still in Stockbridge!

I am English and proud to be English but I am currently living in Scotland.
They are both amazing places i wish England stood up for itself and let people be proud of being English and not 'British' The Scots are Scottish, The Welsh are Welsh and the English...well they are British. Its so unfair! |

Stop being a pain - i am Scottish but i refuse to enter into this pettiness - can people not realise that this poster is trying to wind everyone up? Don't take the bait - and if you do you're an even bigger fool than the poster - that goes for both Scottish or English or anyone else who decides to give an answer.
Things love about england: the sarcasm and wit of the English, London, Granada studios, the lake district, english breakfast, the soaps(hollyoaks, eastenders etc etc), people from witshire - the accent.
Things love about Scotland: Edinburgh, shopping in Glasgow, The shetland isles, the honesty ( Scots tend not to mince their words) and of course the weather :) |

England because they play better football, rugby, cricket, golf, tennis, sailing, and warfare-ask that Bonnie wee prince o yours.
But I'll give the jocks one thing...they have browner knees, Gretna Green, and whiskey to die for, and you can't take that away from them [they are to mean to let you anyway].
I guess the proof of the pudding [or haggis if you have the strength of will to think of something else while you swallow] is in the eating, and I must admit that in all honesty I have yet to meet a Jock that wasn't a decent bloke until it was HIS shout, or a Scotish lass who wasn't a good fiend on a lonely night. |

Scotland, beautiful scenery, beautiful people and we're clearly more tolerant given that almost every previous answer which says Scotland has been given a thumbs down - I wonder on which side of the border the person who has done that is! |

Well I live part time in Scotland and the rest in England....Scotland without doubt has lovely scenary, little traffic, clean air, nice people....but terrible beer, awful pubs, terrible food.....but on balance I will go with Scotland, because I love it when I am up there. |
