No we are running our computers on water wheels. The only apes up here are of English descent.
We actually have our own Parliament, Legal System, Free University Education, Health System & Education System. We publish our own bank notes & have our own army. We have our own golf open, Football Association etc.

Please tell us where you are moving to & when.

I don't think that even warrants a sensible answer.
Some people are just plain rude.

With that sort of attitude you'd be better just staying where you are.

We have evolved to be beings of pure energy, beyond the comprehension of mere mortals like you...

Jellybean
Well since it was scotsmen who invented the television and telephone, yes we have electricity.

jackie m
of course we do and do you know that we have the biggest crime rate in europe - bigger than new york. apart from that we are very friendly people until you get on the wrong side of us???? what is the address you are moving to and we will all come and meet you????

Dizzybyname
Yes, we can even use a knife and fork! We are actually a very friendly people and have a great sense of humour, which comes in handy when you come across people with an outsize chip on their shoulder like Angel, lol

WIld Maiden
no they are still on horse back with blue faces yelling freedom and cutting enemies down with sabers

Jock
I can just see you'll make a lot of friends up here. I reckon you'll be hightailing it over the border in double quick time. I mean, how could you live in a civilised country after coming from such an uncivilised one?

DennyMack
Yes, there is electricity and there is even running water! (Every time it rains, water runs down through the caves!)

Without Scotland there would be no telephone, thus there would be no internet.... so well there would be no yahoo answers... you couldn't ask such a nonsense question like this

What's my problem.. No matter Scottish or not, no one will appreciate it.

It;s such a stupid question. You ask if a country which is a part of the UK empire one of the 10 most developed places in the planet.... you ask if this country has electricity??? I hope if you live in Scotland right now do not drink whiskey and then use the internet. Do it reverse....

I think you mean devolved – in which case they have partly.

There is a now a Scottish parliament that has some regional powers, but you don’t need a passport when crossing the border from/to England and they speak the same language (well, almost) and use the same currency as the rest of the UK.

the scots are pretty arrogant and up themselves. They will constantly tell you they 'hate the english'. Ask them why and they will have no answer because they actually have no idea. I used to live in Scotland 2 years ago but felt i had to escape to Australia. Sometimes they forget Scotland is in the UK and because their football team is so ****, they decide to support the team against england, be it brazil (ask them which continent this is in and they will probably not know) or some other random country.

Now onto scotland, its a pretty nice place, especially where i lived in the highlands and yes they do have electricity.

watch out for the wierdos and have a great time.

xo
