We've had some snowy, sleety showers here in Devon today, the first of the winter for our area, although Darmoor has suffered a time or two. The storms were short, and nothing settled. I remember Easter 1975, when snow settled, the daffodils were weighed down with it.

We had the mummy, daddy and grandaddy of hailstorms in south Hampshire this morning.
They hurt when they hit me :-(.

I'm in Montreal and we have about 4 feet of the stuff, we have had to have our house roof shoveled off twice this winter because of the weight of the stuff..my ceiling has developed cracks in it...would any of you like me to send some over there because I'm sick to death of it. Haven' t seen grass since last November and at this rate probably wont be seeing it again until mid May!!! Just let me know I'm taking orders how many tons do you need?

In south Wales we had heavy snow this morning but it has since melted.

Aberdeen here, and its been snowing on and off all day, although its not lying on the ground. Some of the showers have been very heavy, its very windy and I suspect that when I waken up in the morning it will be White!!!

I'm in the Birmingham/West Mids area and it hasnt snowed but earlier I got caught in a horrible hail storm that looked like it was turning snowy...now the sky is doing that thing that makes you think it's gonna snow...
