Have made maybe 15 trips, starting from the time I was 17 until now. It is my favorite city in the world, and I would guess that that is because I know it better than any other major city, although I have spent a lot of time in Europe and elsewhere, too. You learn London and the surrounding areas by walking it and savoring it, and if you need a getaway to scenery, it is so easy to hop on a train or bus and be someplace entirely different.
I love the shops, people=watching, the museums (Tate, John Soames Museum, Wallace Collection, among others), theatre, markets, and history. I have read so many books set in London that my familiarity with the streets now make the books come alive.
Great shows--Ricky Gervais, French and Saunders--music.
I don't know how anyone could be bored--even if one is on a budget there is so much to see and do.

My mom and I went on vacation there. LOVED it! We're from the USA and we have nothing over here that can compare to what London has!

I am always in london as i live in "the royal borough of kensington and chelsea" love it here don't want to be anywhere else. I am 16 and go to school here aswell and after the summer I will be going to sixth form. In my opinion it is the best place in the world (thats not just kensington, London in general) something happens each and every day whether thats good or bad it depends. there is at least one event every week and most of them are free as they are on the street. You could be walking along and you come aross chris moyles talking to everyone beside the thames near westminster. What a place!

Yes I have, I wanted to go and do all the touristy things and go to Camden, which is great if you've never been before by the way :)

I went the first time as a birthday treat and because I'd always had an interest in British history.

I made seven more return trips because I ended up hitting it off with an internet friend and started seeing them for the last couple of years.

So, I got London trips and to spend time with a wonderful person. You can't beat that!
