No sorry never been, went to Haven in the younger years though, thinking its along the same lines as that and Butlins. There is one in Blackpool that looks like a prison camp. But if its for the kids then sure they won't notice and have a great time all the same. sorry that wasnt very helpful was it...

?
No but went to Butlins in 1965, it was great.

yeah i went to pontins southport last year at easter with my three kids we all had a fantastic time loads to do on the site and around southport. Pretty cheap too we paid 185 for 2 adults 2 kids and a baby for three nights and when we got there they gave us a load of vouchers including free kids meals and buy one get one free bargain!
Have you just been or are you thinking of going?

Ollie
No i have never been & i do not intend to go

I've got a weekend booked in one in Camber Sands coming up... and since we booked it we looked on tripadvisor.com and considered flogging the break on Ebay!!!

Let's just say we are going with a view that if it is as bad as we are expecting we will just come home.

We have stayed in Haven parks which are good, but if you have kids, Butlins is the best of the bunch as the entertainment is a lot better there.

Pontins!!!Yeah nearly 20 years ago, I loved it! I was only about 7 but it was great! I met Keith Harris and Orville, and me and my sister had Captain Croc badges. LOL! We were so proud of those badges! Sorry, I can't remember anything else about it, I just know I loved every minute!

We go to Pontins Brean Sands quite a lot as it's fairly local and we know the area. It's not as good for entertainment as Butlins but the accomodation has always been good. Haven's probably better for some stuff depending what style of site you go to but on the whole you should have a good holiday!x
ps. check out the pontins website!

Yes. My husband deposited me and the kids in one years back on his way down south. If he had been going back North I wouldn't have unpacked.
