Cornwall (Cornish: Kernow) is a county in South West England on the peninsula that lies to the west of the River Tamar.

The administrative centre and only city is Truro, while the historic capitals are Launceston and then Bodmin. Including the Isles of Scilly, located 28 miles (45 km) offshore, Cornwall covers an area of 1,376 square miles (3,563 km²). There is a population of 513,528, with a population density of 144 people per square kilometre, or 373 per square mile.[1] Tourism forms a significant part of the local economy. However, Cornwall is one of the poorest areas in the United Kingdom with the lowest per capita contribution to the national economy[2].

Cornwall is considered one of the six historic "Celtic nations" and some question the present constitutional status of Cornwall, referring to it as a Duchy which is separate from England

Cornwall is a county in SW England - the southernmost country, in fact. It is very affluent and geographically stunning, with wild, craggy coastlines and wide, clean beaches.

Home of chef Rick Stein, dozens of high-end hotels and thousands of traditional stone cottages and millions of surf bums.

Cornwall is in England. It is the southwestern tip, the bit that sticks out to the left.

We don't have States in England, UK we have Counties. Cornwall is on the Southwestern tip of England. It is a beautiful place to visit. King Arthur's Castle is reputed to be in Tintagel, Cornwall.
Come over on holiday sometime. You will be made very welcome. Prince Charles owns most of it!!

If you're really looking for a state... there's Cornwall CT, Cornwall NY, Cornwall PA, Cornwall VA and Cornwall VT. Those came from yahoo search and Wikipedia.
This link has a list of those cities and various other Cornwalls around the world. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cornwall_%28disambiguation%29

Cornwall is a county in the UK. remember that the UK is smaller than most American states. Cormwall`s at the bottom of Englan on the left (Below Wales, Wales is a country whose only purpose is to be used as a guide to describe how much rainforest is being shopped down).
Cornwall is famous for its landmarks which include derelict mines, jobcentres and dole queues. It exports pasties and surfers.
