Bonjour si vous visit le ANPE il est plus bien pour vous a gagner tout les information vous voulez
I am English but live in France we frequently see adverts there for people to work in the UK.
However I reckon that your English is probably good enough for you to survive in the UK without too much trouble.
If you can go to Le Havre and go over for a day or so and spend a bit of time around portsmouth, or alternatively contact LD lines to see about a job.

have a look at aupair jobs. you won't really get paid much (unless you're lucky) but it's a good way to learn a language. You'd live with a family with kids and look after them while the parents go to work. in return you get a room in their house and all your meals + pocket money. have a look on aupair-world.net or www.aupairs.co.uk

You worry me , Youpi.
Please be very careful of who you accept help from. There are an awful lot of weirdos and perverts out there.
Having said that, I wish you the best of luck.
I have listed a few ideas below which may be of interest :-

You dont say what part of England you want to go to, or what kind of job you want. If you wouldnt mind moving into the north west of England I have a spare bedroom going. I am 20 miles from Manchester. You would have to put up with a little mess though because my kitchen and central heating is being replaced. Buy your own food and that is it, OK.

firecat_m that was the most amusing post i've seen all day haha.

Sorry youbi, he is right in a lot of ways but, this is one side of the uk, the other side can be nice too. First of all you need to know which kind of a career you'd like, an Au pair job would be a good start but an agency can put you on the right track.

All the best, Toushka

Stay in your own country.
If you come here you will be the victim of racist taunts and nationality slurs.
The French accent cannot handle English very well so it would just be another reason for Jade Goodey to start on you.

We also have unemployed in this country.
If you came to steal a job just to learn a language then you must be an evil person just like the other immigrants. They take jobs from the true British (that is, those of us that were born here, regardless of race, colour or creed!) and can barely even mumble their way through an order at MacDonalds!

If you want to learn English, LEARN FROM A TUTOR OR AN EDUCATIONAL ESTABLISHMENT!
