There are none - it is illegal. Many of them will allow you to smoke just outside the building but that's about it. |

I don't know of one in York but they are available,look online. I've stayed in one..It is legal because you are paying to stay there,therefore it is your abode. Just ask for a smoking room and if they have one available,no problem..................... |

It has been ILLEGAL to smoke in ALL enclosed public places since 1st July 2007. Any place that allows you to smoke on their premises will be fined £2,500 for EACH person on EVERY occasion. And the individual smoking will be fined £500. |

Yes, as I understand it, there are none: it's illegal. As a smoker myself, I sympathise.
As for hotels in general, I'd suggest you give Marmadukes a try. It's a little pricey, but I really like it.
