I'm afraid if you don't have a postcode then you'll not find them. It's data protection. You look up all the names of the person in the area and eliminate it from there, but with all the people going ex directory you may have an unsucessful hunt. It's all data protection these days I'm afraid.

I know it sounds silly but i saw this in the paper a few weeks ago. A person didnt know the address of the person he was sending a letter to, all he knew was his name and the part of england he was from. (devon). So he drew a map of england and put an 'x' where devon is and said the person he is sending the letter lives somewhere in this area. It probably would only work though if the person has an unusual name, so there would be only one person with that name. It actually got delivered to him!

if u know the postcode and house number, go to www.tracesmart.com, address finder, then reverse postcode lookup, it gives u the full address. hope that helps

get the phone book of the local area- you can order them online at bt.com

The phone book for that area will help (if they're listed). If they are based in the Oxfordshire area, I'll check my phone book for you!

You could try the Address Finder at www.postoffice.co.uk, but I believe you need the postcode for that.

If not, you could search by name and area on www.192.com.

If you have the postcode only, you can go onto multimap.com and enter in the postcode where it will show you what the road name is along with the rest of the address

do you have the post code for this person that would get the letter there.
You could also try just putting as much information as you know on the envelope, the Royal Mail can some times do wonders with that, and always try to deliver you could be surprised

what area are you talking about if you have the post code go to roal mails site to check it,you could also use streetmaps.co.uk,also the AA do a free route planner on thier website.hope this helps good luck

eg
you've got the post code or the post code of somebody or company near? then try BT Royal Mail sites or http://www.192.com/ that should do it, with the street number.
Good luck
