NUMBER 1 bus catch it outside train station and it takes you all the way through headingly.

When you get to Leeds train station, find the train to goes to harrogate or york. It is this line that will pass through Headingly.

It's the second stop (after Burley Park) you need to get off at.

If you can't find the paltofrm at Leeds City station, ask one of the workers there, as I can't remember if it's platform 6 or 8 ;) (It's been a while since I lived there)

Once you get to Headingly, exit on to St John's Place, turn left onto Kirkstall Lane, then about a mile down here you will come to some traffic lights. Turn left here onto the A660. This is Otley Road in Headingley.

hope that helps!

Otley Road is some way out of Headingley. I don't think Headingley Station is much use. Use www.streetmap.co.uk to pinpoint the location then www.traveline.org.uk to pinpoint which bus you want. There are lots of them. A taxi would be about £9

Daisy Roots
There is a train service direct to Headingley from Leeds City Station

Clarky 303 is right

the cheapest apart from walking (its not actually that far) is to get the bus (number 1)

I've just been onto national rail enquiries and apparently there's a train that runs directly to Headingley - every half hour during the day and then once an hour in the evening.

Taxi at station exit. Bus outside from Boar Lane. Walk it, about 2 miles that's all. The general direction is towards Headingley cricket ground, follow signs. Easy-peasy.

Easiest way would be a taxi it's not far from the station.

there are taxis just outside the station or a regular bus services outside, don't panic we don't bite, the B.T.P (British transport police) are always there and a real friendly bunch, they'll be more than happy to assist you. all the best.
