Use the London Underground journey planner. Just type in the start and end point of your journey.

Walk round the corner from Euston mainline station to Euston Square underground station and get an eastbound Metropolitan or Circle Line train.

My route avoids both the Northern Line (nicknamed the Misery Line) and the Central Line, both of which are always rammed and excessively hot.

Yes, just walk round the corner to Euston Square underground station (it's sign-posted) and from there take any eastbound train to Liverpool Street.. It doesn't matter what it says on the front of the train - Whitechapel, Barking, Aldgate or Circle - they ALL go there!
As for walking all the way, I bet the person who suggested it has never actually DONE it ! ! !

Neil M
OK if you want a route that is not confusing, do the following:

1. Take the Victoria line (light blue) SOUTHBOUND in the direction of Brixton.

2. Change at Oxford Circus. Mind the lions and clowns.

3. Take the Central line (red) EASTBOUND in the direction of Epping. This will take you to Liverpool Street.

This is not the quickest way, but it is the simplest.

The quickest way is to walk out of Euston station south west and follow the signposts to "Euston Square" station around 200 meters away. From there take any train EASTBOUND directly to Liverpool Street.

You are here: X
walk around the corner to euston square then get eastbound circle / hammersmith and city / metropolitan line to liverpool street.

or take northern / victoria line to kings cross then change to eastbound circle / hammersmith and city / metropolitan line to liverpool street.

or take northern line to moorgate then change to eastbound circle / hammersmith and city / metropolitan line to liverpool street.

or take northern line to bank then change to eastbound central line to liverpool street.

or take northern line to tottenham court road then change to eastbound central line to liverpool street.

or take the victoria line to oxford circus then change to eastbound central line to liverpool street.

or catch the 205 bus to liverpool street from stand D

Tamart
Take Northern eastbound and change at Moorgate to Circle or Metropolitan

You get the northern line south (black line). You want the branch that goes via Bank. Change at bank and get the central line (red line) east one stop.

f you take the Charing Cross northern line, you just change at Tottenham Court Road and get the central line east from there to Liverpool st.

Nick
or get the victoria line south to Oxford Circus then the central line to liverpool street

You can walk. It's not far and much cheaper than the tube.
