Put on a national costume, preferably Swiss shorts or lederhosen. Attach a Swedish flag to the back of your rucksack and wear a long blond wig. Get out on the highway and hitch a ride north. It's the cheapest way to go. |

Coach takes 7 hours but single cost is only £37 from Stanstead Airport via Victoria London then change to Liverpool and you can take more luggage. than flying Lots of people your age do this so its a good way of meeting friends too

National Express from Victoria Bus Station if you can not get a cheap flight. it puts you off about a hundred yards or so from the city centre and Lime street station |

Cheaper than National Express is MEGABUS.com.Around £6 single if you catch the right time to book. Internet bookings only. Taken over by Stagecoach a while ago,but retains Megabus name. You can meet some great people. I was talking to an Aussie film director on one a few weeks ago. (Genuine).Students use it to John Moore's University. Drops you off by Lime Street Stn.Around 5 1/2 hours journey time, same as National Express. |

Cheapest way would be by National coaches You will have to check connections from Stansted .. Might not be direct to Liverpool , might need to change at Birmingham or Manchester. But a lot cheaper than by train |

By train and booking as far ahead as possible, just as when you fly. There is a railway station inside Stansted Airport and you can catch a train operated by Cross Country Trains
www.crosscountrytrains.co.uk. You will need to change trains at Birmingham New Street on this journey, but a through ticket will be issued. If you would like to spend some time in London before travelling to Liverpool take the frequent Stansted Express train from the Airport to London Liverpool Street. Trains from London (Euston Station) to Liverpool are operated by Virgin Trains www.virgintrains.com
Again advance purchase fares are the cheapest. |

Stanstead is well far from London. You will be better travelling by train or coach which tend to travel to where you want. Train travel can be quite cheap if you pre book and check out all their offers. It can get complicated. i suggest you pop into your local station and talk to there travel office. I always do that just to make sure I get the best offer |
