Previous answers are correct. Divide by 8 and multiply by 5. Just in case you want to know how to convert other distances, and not just 35km.

If you're driving and want a crude estimate then just halve the kms.

multiply by 6 the first number and you are very close. For example 6X3 =18 miles 100kms = 6X10or 60 miles. Hope that helps
