How far is the historical site Stonehenge from the city Nottingham, in England?
How long does it take to travel there by car, or bus?
It's about 160 miles.
You'd need to make a day of it at least. I'd advise getting a train from Notts to Salisbury, checking in to the Clovelly hotel (just behind the train station), then catching the regular bus service to the stones in the morning from the train station.
Cheers.

An awful long way! You could probably do it in a day if you are sufficiently determined. Don't know how long it would take by car, but I would recommend train if going by public transport. You'll have to get a bus for the last bit from Salisbury to Stonehenge. Try www.traveline.org.uk for timings of the entire journey.

im not about miles but i live near stonehenge and my nan lives in nottingham, it would take about 3 hours drive, but you could have a look for actual miles by doing an aa road map, they are very good, and i dont think i would want to travel that far just to see them stones, i can think of better days out than that!
