No it's not spring. The weather in Feb is normally freezing cold with snow or rain. Spring is normally round about end of March that's if the seasons are how they should be. If your planing a visit wait until end of april beginning of June, maybe the weather will be kind to us and the sun will shine...........Enjoy your visit. |

It is dark cold and miserable in February. Seasons are not terribly reliable in the UK. This year winter dragged on into April. Spring went on to July. Summer lasted about 3 days in July followed quickly by autumn. Winter began about 3 weeks ago. |

No, it's still really cold here (I live about 50m East of London). Last year it snowed on Easter. The average temp for February is 4ºC or 39ºF.

February is probably one of the worst months, with more likelyhood of snow, rain, and it's cold and damp. Expect frosty mornings, plenty of rain, gloomy grey skies so constant that the sun might not appear for a week.
However it's not always like that - you could get some nice crisp days with blue skies too. |
|

Nice marmot!
 |
It is still cold then with an average daytime temperature of 8 degrees C. Definitely bring a coat for a february visit! |

I wouldn't consider it to be almost spring in February.
It will be very cold, wet and probably snowy.
If you're coming over, wrap up warm, lots of layers! |

No - February is still mid-Winter here in London. Below is a link which will get you the weather stats for London throughout the year.

As you can see February is still very cold sometimes below freezing.
Spring here in London is from mid to late March but really does not get into it's swing until about mid April. By May we are heading towards an early Summer and with any luck it will start to warm up.

Unfortunately it's still winter in February. Sometimes we have snow, mainly we have rain. Bring an umbrella, a very warm coat, some boots and a scarf. |

The weather in London is perpetually crap, although it's possible that it rains a little bit more in February. Spring is scheduled to happen towards the end of March, when English people traditionally remove their winter underpants for the first bath of the year. The beginning of spring now marks the start of the 'short season', when men will wear short trousers regardless of weather; this generally continues until at least the beginning of November. |
