the countryside is beautful
the cities are vibrant and interesting
great shops
its great
i am so lucky to live in such a beautiful and priviledged part of the world, i wish other people here could realise that.

The urban and suburban areas are almost identical to those in France, although obviously the historic landmarks are a little different. London is perhaps a bit more "gritty" and metropolitan in feel, whereas Paris is a little more chic and slightly snobbier.
The rural areas, of course, are a little more contrasting due to the landscape and climate as well as the traditional occupations.
Still, there aren't major differences between the countries, other than France has better weather in the South and the cuisine is more consistent, with less international influence. |

If youre rich you'll love it! If not then its a bit bad at the minute because of the credit crunch etc. Suppose everyone is suffering from that though. A lot of people (including the french!) say we have terrible food but I dont think thats true at all. I love the english bistro style of cooking. The weather isnt great and we do get a lot of rain. Autumn is lovely though and my city looks beautiful at this time of year. We have quite a lot of good music mainly sort of new indie and rock. There is loads to see and do and a lot of different cultures. Some of the main big cities are: London, Manchester, Birmingham, Liverpool and Leeds. There are also loads of other great places like Cornwall, Brighton, Cumbria, and York. Its a bit depressing living in this country at the minute because of knife crime escalating and people losing their houses due to the credit crunch but I think youll find most people are friendly, have a good sense of humour and like to have fun! |

No were not racist at all, apart from a few idiots that tend to not care what others are feeling. The weather lately has been terrible, all rain no sun AT ALL! So im glad to be moving to america, hopefully. We shop, work work and work and go to school. Thats all really. :( Boring to be honest. I would say england is the hard working country lol :) we never stop. I dnot live in london but i live a few hours away and where i live its much smaller but the people are great. I dont talk in a london accent they are too posh for me lol :) anyways if your thinking of moving here, get a stash of umbrellas, rain coats and warm clothes. you will need it :) xxx |
