Katie

How many on this site are from england or Ireland?

don't get me wrong and is nice to hear now and again from different countries there questions but f*** me every question is from another countries and its hard to answer as we have different laws, different schools and it hard to know what is meant just want to know whats wrong with the US site is it crap?
Additional Details
its not that idont want to answer qustions from US its just if its a question about law, schools, weather, why not post it in US only question as we would not be able to answer it so this not an attack on the US its just a thought, hello england, Ireland, scotland and wales.

Hi Katie.

I agree, I am from Northern Ireland and I have had the same problem when I was asking a legal question.

The next time I tried asking the legal question in the UK travel section so it could be answered by UK residents and it got deleted!

Dave
Yes the US site is crap, it's full of moronic questions. Personally I am from the UK.

Ada
I'm from London, England.

Though its nice that there are so many people from different places, get more insight.

Im from lovely Bolton, england. WOOO !!

I am from England and I understand your frustration. Especially when you have a law/education/housing type question, as well meaning and helpful as people try to be, their answers are of no use if not applicable in the UK.

I asked a similar question when I was new on this site, I got bombarded with insults also!

Even if we click on English questions only - everyone from everywhere still answers, so I don't get the point of it.

What I do now is to type UK question before my question.

I'm from waterford Ireland. I think it's cool to get in touch with people from other countries. Can't always help with the legal questions but most of the stuff asked is universal.

I'm in England but i'm logged onto yahoo.com.au. yes Australia, yet I still see duff questions, usually posed by Americans who do not say where they are. no surprise that they get duff answers.

West Yorkshire, England here.

This is so NOT racist! as far as i knew america wasn't actually a race but a state.

its a valid question. sometimes it's useful like if you're travelling to other parts of europe or usa. but you have to learn to put uk and don't assume that people will know.

I agree that our systems and cultures are so dissimilar that it is hard to answer questions, but I also like finding out new things. so its a bit of giving and taking i suppose.

Oh im also from the UK so add one more to your list!!!

Heeey- Don't slag anyone that is trying to help- If you don't state your country then surely that makes you at fault for not supplying enough info!
The people in any country that answer questions in a serious manner are actually trying to help and need as much input to your questions as you can give- please remember to state that it's american laws you wish to be answered in- and if I'm one of the people that has already answered with answers unbefitting then I'm sorry- you are my excuse- or should i say- your lack of info is!
AND as for your question- I'm sure yahoo will tell you that there are a great many like myself over here that do not mean to waste your time or give you deliberately false information- your question is almost racist and completely childish when there is only you to blame.
Remember we are all trying to help and if there are any that are not they should be reported.
