I'm sooo sorry my country is VERY expensive
petrol at the moment is about 99.5 pence per litter
a meal in a pub is about 70 pound for you all to eat
and your best bit when you go to any days out get family tickets
but it depends on where you go

Paris trip is around £450 on Eurostar if you book in advance and their website can provide you with good deals for hotels. If you want to stay for 3 days (2-3 nights) you need to count at least £250 per night for hotel and food and atractions.

I would suggest that you need at least £1500 for Paris itself and you are looking for about £200 for car in London not counting fuel.

For five people I would suggest hiring a flat instead of hotel. If you google it you might find a good deal. I would advice around £1000 for a decent place with full facilities but you might find something cheaper if you start searching now.

Food and life are expensive but with a flat you can make it cheaper by buying things and cooking by yourselve. I normally count £10-15 a day for food. I would say that with three adults and 4 children you're looking at around £50-60 daily for food and drinks providing breakfasts and suppers you eat at home and you take some sandwitches with you. On safe side for food I would suggest £1500 for three weeks presuming you want to eat out from time to time.

I would say that with activities etc you are looking at the expense no smaller than £3000. I would say that £5000-6000.

It depends whether you want to stay in a hotel or in a cottage/ houseand on whether you want the visit to take place during the school hols as prices go up!

We have just had a week in Cornwall (google Holiday Cornwall) in a lovely place with sea view for just under £1000.

Another company we have used is English Country Cottages, they have places around the country.
There are always a selection that will sleep 8 people.

Look at the websites of the big car hire companies for an idea of price. (Avis, Hertz, etc)
Petrol is expensive and will obviously cost more for a big vehicle.
I have a Volvo and it costs approx £55-60 to fill (and will manage about 350 miles from the tank)

Food will depend on whether you are going to eat out or cook for yourselves. Hugely variable prices. To self cater you should probably allow £100-120 per week. (including wine!)
Eating out will be more obviously. You will be able to feed the children for around £5 per main meal. More for the adults.
Don't forget to factor in your admission fees and entertainment costs!

Things are very expensive here. So allow as much as you can afford. Bring a credit card too incase you run out.
Expect to pay a lot for accomodation and choose Bed and Breakfast/Guest houses instead of large hotels.
Car Hire is astronomical so buy travel cards to travel around London and use coach travel instead to out of London places.

minimum of £250 a week for accomidation. and the same for food a week. then how ever much you are going to spend on day visits.

I just returned last month. Everything was amazingly expensive! It cost us nearly $100US to fill up an economy size car. Also, when you rent a car in England, they require a deposit. Not a deposit like here in the States; they want to put 4-5000US on hold on a credit card! Thankfully, I had read about this and purchased an insurance policy for a rental car through Travelguard (Travelgard?) on the internet. It cost around $60. They still insisted on a $2000 deposit, even with $35,000 worth of coverage with the policy I purchased. Be sure to budget for the fuel, though. We were there 8 days and spent nearly $200 in gas. Hotels in London are also outrageously expensive. Much more than even NYC. Food is high, everything is high. But, I had a great trip and would do it again in a heartbeat. I will, however, be taking the train next time rather than driving. It produced some of the scariest moments of my life!

oh i think you shouldn't rent a car... will be very expensive and it's very easy to move in england with train, buses and all that stuff...

a don't know exactly cuz i don't know the price in a hotel or something but is very expensive... and you're a lot... so i think 4000 pounds minimun

Also when u come to london there's a thing called "London Pass" u should buy that... with that u can go to every tourist places for free... (tower bridge experience, st. pauls cathedral, london eye...)
