I used to work for large tour operator (won' t mention which one but they keep asking holiday questions on this forum)

Anyway, under 18's could only travel if the was an adult over 18 in the party. So, if a group of friends were going on holiday at least one would need to be at least 18 and the others would need to submit letters from their parents granting permission prior to tickets being issued.

You can legally book your travel when you are 16. However, some travel agents may not accept your business for international travel until you are 18.

16, with parental consent.
18 with no consent

yo need to be 16!!

Professor
No legal age except that you need a credit card. I have never given my age to a holiday company.

It varies, but im pretty sure you can when you are 16 if you have consent from your parents, but im pretty sure you can book a holiday when you are 17 with no parental consent. I think it would also make a difference where abouts to, as in, nationaly/internationaly.. xx

You have to be 18 yrs of age.

elflaeda
I don't think many people would be willing to take an independant booking from someone who was under 18.
