How to deal with (very) smelly people on public transport?

A friend of mine lived in London in the 1980's..and travelled by tube every rush hour.
He used to deal with "smellies" by slipping travel sized bars of soap in their pockets(which he got from a railway friend for free).
The soap was wrapped in a little note..which on opening read:- "have a wash you stinky F***KER!".
I guess it was really getting him down!

The best thing to do is discreetly move (as far) away as possible! It's horrible as other people can get paranoid that everyone thinks it's them and the actual prsone it is is obblivious to it, funny that - it's ALWAYS the same way!

We should all be allowed to spray them with a hose!

Poppy
Carry body spray wherever you go and attack whoever smells

they are the same as non smelly people on public transport, just cram them in like sheep & before long you all smell the same & if your lucky you can eat breakfast & go to the toilet at the same time.

Oh yeah. I hate sitting next to a guy who smells of curry in the morning! BO is just as bad. If it's the tube, I just hop off at the next stop and run down to the next carriage and hop on again. If it's the bus, I go upstairs or downstairs to get away from them. They usually pick me to sit next to. I'm too scared to say anything in case I get knifed as yesterday I politely asked someone to use their headphones instead of blasting their phone out to the whole bus and was told to f off.

wave your hand in front of your nose and say 'god what is that stink' or else get some vicks vaporub and put that under your nostrils to mask the stench

hopper13
just try not to breathe in through your nose!

Try and move away if you possibly can or carry a handkerchief with some of your favourite perfume on it and keep it close to your nose!

I had a mate who stank, and before Id let him in my car I used to sprasy the stinking bast with Detox room deodoriser.Carry a little can with you.
Or stay of public transport, its only for peasents anyhow

I Think I'm Growing Up!
Always carry body spray or perfume. As soon as you leave the bus, train etc spray all over!

While stuck in confined space with smelly people open window! Air circulationis needed.
