Go to Albert's and Victoria Museum, it is unique, there is a Dali exposition at Tate Modern, go to a musical you can buy the tickets in Lester Square. Visit the House of Parliament (it is 12 pounds), St Paul's Cathedral, Westminster Abbey, The Tower, , take some evening walks on the Themes: take the Jubilee walk and the other one that starts at Tower Bridge. Buckingham Palace. If you want to see the Change of Guards at Buckingham Palace be there at 10 on a business day if you want to get a good spot.
Generally speaking every spot in London has a website get on them and enjoy London!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1 |

Make sure you go to Hyde Park. What a neat place to hang out in. Apparently New York's Central Park was modelled after it. Spend an afternoon there!
Hope that helps! |

If you're ambiguous about what to do in London, make sure you take a double decker tourist bus to take you to all the sights. You can get on and off as you please, enjoy what pleases you and discriminate against what doesn't. Usually costs about 20 British Pounds/ |

well, i live here and i dont go to london much, i dont fink anyone does, its very busy, stincks, people rip u off
naa jk lol
u would wanna visit the musuems, tower bridge, buckingham palace take a photo wiv the guards, visit the wax musuem (madam's tussauds) big ben, which is in westminster, and the london eye which isnt very far away from big ben
theres the london dungeon, i thought it was bollocks, but i dunno u might like it
and then go for a meal, probably in a foriegn restaurants, u wouldnt wanna eat fish and chips on holiday eh, well theres a place which i always go to, full of restaurants, its behind miss selfridges on oxford street, then if u wanna go shopping, dont go too far, oxford street, piccadily circus is not too far, there are some restaurants there as well and pubs, i think china town is just by piccadilly circus,
after the meal u might wanna walk it off lol, go to hyde park, (if ur there on a sundays u'll see some nutters speaking and trying to get attention in hyde park corner)
there are some restaurants behind harrods which is in knightsbridge, but quite expensive, what i done was i went for a noodle soup in china town lol, better than paying at least 50 quid for some seafood, and french wine.
in the afternoon go to some pub, and then/or club
dunno much about the clubs there, but i know the ones in the centre are expensive, and mostly vip's guest list,
i've gathered some websites, plan your journey before u go, cos london is huge, very busy and would take very long to get from one place to another, i recommend buying a day ticket on the tube, u can also use it on the bus, zones one and 2,
once u go to london get the tube map from the closest tube station n sit down and plan ur journey!!!
dont carry loads of cash with u, just ur cards, dont go to areas where there are no people (alleys, east london loool)
additional info:
keep in mind that our 10 pounds is equal to 20 american dollars, and london is very expensive, even compared to other parts of the U.K |

It is the middle of August and therefore (supposedly) the middle of summer, but here in London, we haven't seen the sun for ten days. Grey overcast skies and frequent rain showers |

In London, Trafalgar Square London, Buckingham Palace, London Bridge, Warwick Castle.
Stone Henge.
If you can tour some of the country, Walk part of the Green Downs trail. Also visit the villages while in the area. Stop off at one of the Pubs and have a Brown and Tan and talk to the locales. If you have a chance stay with the locales. It makes all the difference. Go to a football or cricket match.
Your In their country, immerse yourself in their culture.
I am envious. Have a great time! |

I wouldn't recommend the London Eye...the line is SO long, and the actual ride takes a long time (like 30 min) and you're packed in with a bunch of other people...
Must-see places/things: Buckingham Palace's changing of the guards (11.30AM on certain days--check online--and be there at least a 1/2 hr early to get a good spot); Westminster Abbey; the Tower of London; National Portrait Gallery; the illuminated manuscripts at the British Library; Harrod's department store (it's so big and pretty!)...and for a day trip go to Hampton Court (it's about a 1/2 hour tride ride from Waterloo)
Have fun! |

There is a small place called Hays Galleria in London Bridge where you can walk along the River Thames. On the opposite side of the river is the city, to your right is Tower Bridge and to your left is Wesminster. Its a sight not to be missed. Its one of my favourite places in London.
Whilst walking along the banks of the river you can visit the Tate Modern, cross the bridge to St Pauls Cathedral.
Seriously, I have been in London for 2yrs and the only way to see it is by walking. You'll miss a lot getting the underground all the time.
Have fun! |
