I'm going to be in london for two days in july and I was wondering what some really cool places to visit are?

A fun place is the London Dungeon. It is a museum about plagues, torture in the old days, etc. Very interesting.
Also try Westminster Abby and the whispering wall. Whisper at one end and a friend can hear you at the other end.
Piccadilly Circus is great fun as you will find lots of street performers there.
Trafalgar Square is also very interesting. That is where all of the pigeons hang out and on people.
Go see the changing of the guard. A must see in London.
Harrod's is about the largest department store I have ever seen. It has about 8 floors and each floor is a different department.
You can also do a Jack the Ripper tour where you walk the steps he did at night. A little creepy.
Or buy a pass to the red double decker busses. They stop at some 106 tourist attractions and it is hop on hop off.

See Big Ben
See the Tower bridge and the London Bridge (the original is in Lake Havasu City, Arizona).

Check out Camden Town especially on a weekend -- lots of outdoor markets and people watching.

Sightseeing in London is free but as soon as you go in anywhere you'll have to start paying.. but anyway get yourself a travel card, this will get you on any train, bus, underground anywhere within London for the whole day.. great value for money. When you get bored with London (or you run out of money) get on a train from Victoria Station down to East Grinstead.. it's about a 1 hour journey from there you'll be able to visit the 100 acre wood and Pooh Bridge.. the real home of Christopher Robin.. great fun

What I liked staying in London is British museum, and of course parks.

Get a map and look around. You can do a one hour walk to see most of London city centre. Start at Buckingham Palace and walk towards Soha area. At night this place has all the actions you would like in any big city. I have been to London more than 25 times.

The London Wetland Centre, is a natural reserve in the outskirts of London. If the weather is fine, and you like nature, well its a nice place to go.

Also another favourite place is Maritime Greenech, plenty of things to see

IF YOUR 16 BRING PROOF AND YOU,LL TRAVEL ON ALL THE BUSES FOR FREE. IN TWO DAYS YOU ARE NOT GOING TO BE ABLE TO SEE MUCH. SO START AT THE LONDON EYE DO YOU WANT SHOPS, SIGHTSEEING, HISTORY, CULTURE. TRAVEL CARD GOOD IDEA BUT CHECK OUT AN OYSTER CARD FOR TUBE TRAVEL MAYBE CHEAPER THAN THE TRAVEL CARD. IT WOULD TAKE ME ALL DAY TO TELL YOU THE ENDLESS ATTRACTIONS I LIVE HERE SO GOOD LUCK.

Once you are in London you will be able to navigate the best places for you because they are right there. First thing I will suggest is of course the LONDON EYE take a ride on a Ferris Wheel (if it is not cloudy) so you can view the city from top. Then I will suggest NATIONAL ART MUSEUM it is free, you will have a chance to see the works of many masters such as Picasso, Van Gogh, Seurat, Monet, Degas, etc Dont miss HARRODS even if you dont buy anything go inside just to see what the fuss is all about. Across HARRODS is the famous RITS HOTEL you can go inside have a coffe and enjy the beautiful foyer. If you have time go and see Les Miserables or Phantom of the Opera at PICADILLY. Dont for get to visit Victoria Square as well and taste the local fish and chips.
