How about driving to Lakeside Shopping Centre for a little retail therapy? How about Ikea, at this time of day it should be quiet? Otherwise, how about a drive to find a nice country pub for lunch? Enjoy - the sun is shining...

Do you like unspoilt seasides? Go to Mersey Island (off Colchester) It's a magical place, a working fishing port, beautiful country park, a few cafes & shops, and a real island community. I love it there, and visit often. Have a lovely day - wish I was coming with you!

Have a nice drive round the countryside, get the fresh air down your lungs. I live in the country and I love it, the peace and views.

Drive down to london. Visit the new Oxford Street primark. It's especially good if you have a family and don't always have tons of spare cash.
