If you won it in an e-mail, it is a scam to get your identity for either fraud or marketing purposes (junk mail, spam, annoying phone calls, etc.) Either way, it is one big headache that you do not need.
My identity was stolen this way and I'm still cleaning it up.
Best of luck to you, I know this is not what you wanted to hear.

To win anything in the UK lottery you have to buy (pay for) a ticket.

If you didn't buy a ticket - you haven't won anything.

when will people learn ????

~

Look on the bright side.
To win a lottery you must first buy a ticket. You have NOT won ant money. You have received a scam e-mail. DO NOT reply, delete it and forget about it.

If you have bought an entry and have the receipt for the numbers you selected then contact the telephone number on that receipt. If you do not have a receipt then you have not entered a UK lottery and therefore cannot win a prize. If it was e mailed to you then it is a scam and you should ignore it and delete it. DO NOT contact the e mailer as this will give him detail about you and your PC. Delete it and forget it.

sorry, but if you havent been in England and bought a ticket, its a scam. There have been several people from other countries on here after recieving a letter saying they have won

JOJO

If it was genuine you would have to be a British resident to have won or be entitled to any winnings from the UK lottery, this is a scam they send out these things every day to most of us.

You need a British bank account, without that you´ve had it!
