When the sun's shining, yes...but the other 360 days of the year it pisses me off a bit...x

What! Giving me nasty thumbs for saying the weather's not so good.....hmmm

Mud Hammer
Yes but would rather be up north beside a loch. Ned culture is very disappointing

I should be doing something else

Well it's a beautiful country and Edinburgh is nice but Glasgow is bloody awful, I can't stand their accents and most of the people seem rough as f*ck and look scary.

Yes, it is the best country in the world - that's why I live here. I've tried other places but you can't beat Scotland

jimtex_2000
OH YES! It's a wonderful Country. I'm from Texas and of Scottish ancestry and visited Scotland just a few months ago and cannot wait to return this year. I love the cool, crisp air of the Highlands as opposed to the insufferable heat and ozone levels of a Texas summer.
I've even tried to find employment there, but it is rather difficult for a middle aged American without discernible skills.

Scotland is great. Much nicer and friendlier than England.

Yes i do, it is without doubt the most scenic place i have ever seen. First went in 1997 and now go back there for at least 5 weeks every year, i always stop in Torridon near the Bienn Eighe nature reserve, its simply stunning.

Squidlyska

We went in 2004 for two weeks. Rented a car in Edinburgh and drove around the country -- Fife, castle country (Dunnottar and Craigievar were my favorites), Aberdeen, Inverness, Isle of Skye, Ft. William, Glasgow, and the border abbeys.

We loved it so much that we went back for 2 more weeks in 2007. My parents came along. When my husband's parents heard, they decided to join us as well, flying in from Japan (we're from the US). We rented two cars and the 6 of us drove all around Scotland. You know that I love it to still be excited about a trip with both sets of our parents!!

Our son was born in Nov 2007. Hmmmm, he hasn't been to Scotland...!
