Find Bedruthen steps (between Padstow & Newquay) it's a magical place especially at night if you can get down there.

DONT go to Eden. Biggest rip off Ive been to down there this year. £12.80 to shuffle round in a soulless queue. Rubbish

You are going to corn-hole your mate this w/e?
Dude, that's too much information.

Cornwall has lots going for it, some of the best coastal scenery in England, historic fishing villages, strong Cornish culture.

Padstow is the foodie centre - Rick Stein's seafood restaurant, etc
St Ives is the arts centre with fabulous collections of 20th century and contemporary art and working artists.
Newquay area is for surfers and their hangers on.
Falmouth has the Minack open air theatre and a seal sanctuary nearby. You can go for boat trips up the river Fal.
There's the Eden Project which has different climate zones and the Lost Gardens of Heligan which are just wonderful.
Truro is an attractive small city with a Cathedral and some pleasant parks and restaurants.

You will need more than a weekend!

For more info see http://www.go-cornwall.com/.

Take a coat.

Avoid Land's End. It's really not worth it. They have just spoilt a lovely bit of coast by plonking a load of shops and amusements and an extortionate car park right next to it.
Instead, visit St Ives. It's got some of the best beaches in the country, some really cool shops and it's all so lively and pretty.

Eat pasties and cream teas? Sit on the beach while it's raining? Sit in a field while it's raining? Not much to do round here.

I should head to Newquay if I were you. The season's not quite over yet so it should still be fairly busy if you like that sort of thing.

Edit: The Minack Theatre is at Porthcurno, not Falmouth (see below)

visit newquay, and truro - great places for all ages.

Sit on the headland at Perranporth. No matter what the weather its always a nice place to be.

Also try the Maratine Museum in Falmouth - lots of interactive interesting things and there'll be hardly any kids clogging them up so you can play to your hearts content.

Or there's the Cyder Farm or Karting at St Eval between NEwquay and Padstow.

Loads to do you'll probably want to go the weekend after to
