I do not have a passport and I do not hold a driving licence, what form of ID is appr. for UK to UK flights?

Citizen card go to bas website and read. No drivers licence either you might have an issue you basically are saying you have NO photo id of yourself...

best bet is to call iinto your local travel agent, they should have all the appropriate details, if in doubt contact the airlinr/airport and they will give you a definite answer. as for id. take your origional birth certificate, that should be proof enough.have a look at this website http://www.easyjet.com/EN/News/20030821_01.html

I really doubt you'll be able to fly, maybe you should phone the airline? The last thing you want is to get there and be refused so it's better to be safe than sorry.

If they do let you fly though you will probably need something with your photo on it (provisional licences don't count).

You can get an electoral ID card, as far as I know that's the only other form of ID they can accept

You need photo id & a utility bill as well unless the phot id is a driving licence. Do you have any work id?

You don't need a passport, but you do need photo ID, the same as for Ireland, but in practice this means that most people have to use a passport anyway because not everyone yet has a photo driving licence.

In this day and age, with airline security getting tougher, I don't rate your chances. Phone the airline and ask. Maybe if you had a birth certificate, a letter from your doctor on headed notepaper saying he knows you, a signed letter from your local police station saying you are not a terrorist or criminal and vouching for you, proof of address with a bank statement or utility bill and a letter from your employer they might let you on the plane without ID, but with all that palarva, you'd be better off asking your employer to pay the train fare instead. It'd probably be just as cheap. Crazy, isn't it? You can't even travel in your own country by air without producing proof of your identity. Train travel will probably soon go the same way.

You are better of getting a passport for ID because i have trouble with ID and that is one of the things people ask like if you want to open a bank account they ask for passport or driving licence so it is better to have a passport even if you dont go anywhere at lease you have got your ID

Im pretty sure you still need your passport as i fly to England from Scotland every year and need mine.
