big beauty
well it is very popular for bars and clubs and restaurantes these days and was/is a very up and coming place
the place to be according to bbc news 24
but the people of london say dont worry it will be back to what it was before and even better as the whole of that areas businesses shall chip in

grim reaper
have you ever left the street you live in
I have travelled over most of this country and Camden Market IS one of the well known London landmarks, are you that desperate to post a question

We lived in Camden Town years ago, and thought it was one of the best bits of London. The market must be saved. If it doesn't have historical importance, it certainly has social importance.

It's the hottest place in town...... now.

It's more an area of market, isn't it. I bought a shirt there in 1992 and I still have it. It's faded a bit though.

It used to be! before it burned down..

You are so wrong.

It is a museum of national importance because it is where all the punks went to when they died. Many of them are still walking around there several years after their death.

Well no, Camden Market is important to the way London is now. So for that reason the fire comes as a blow not only to those who make a living from Camden Market but also to London's identity in terms of popular culture.

You clearly don't know any of it's history then!
