Try Hungary. The weather is quite nice now and you (with or without your family:) can do a lot of various things. The prices are lower than in UK.
Well, i think the best think you can do is check it on the net. |

Take them to disneyland, either paris or orlando. Paris have a deal on at the moment. gonna take my son there for a weekend. It's a child goes free with one full paying adult. Did it before last year, my son loved it!! never seen him so happy!
I took him to italy last year as well. Lake garda, but that is mostly fo the summer. He loved it there as well. Loved the food and they have Gardaland, water parks and a movie studio there as well. |

Go to North Wales - stay in somewhere like Bala. There's a huge lake, a little private railway round it that your boy will love, pubs, shops and cafes.
Then go up Snowdon Mountain on the railway. It climbs up and up - very exciting for you, husband and child. Views are amazing - they say that you can see 5 kingdoms from the top on a fine day: England, Wales, Ireland, Isle of Man and the Kingdom of Heaven!
Visit Barmouth and walk across the toll bridge (pedestrian only) 30p each. Staggering views up the Mawddach Estuary, lots of different seabirds, etc.
Go across the Menai Bridge to Anglesey - beaches, countryside, walks. Lovely. Peace and quiet.
Wales is wonderful. Have a great holiday! |

either France:
Paris (with Eurodisney) and a nother city like Rheims for the wonderful architecture or Strasbourg
or Spain...
Either Barcelona (which has everything for the family and is stunning to look at, plus you have the amazing Font Magica to visit in the evenings to make your son's eyes go especially wide!), or head down to Granada, Cordoba, and Seville in Andalucia.
Happy Holidays
