Hello there, sorry to hear that you lost your passport,
1.you will need to have all your paper work in order stating your name and surname and if you have proof of your date of birth.
2.this is very importaint-go to the police station and give them the detales of your date and where in london you may have been where you found your passport was missing.
3.then the crime number will have to be taken to the indian high commission in london and they will give you a passoprt for 27£ for a 34 page passport and its 34£for a 60page passport that is called a jumbo passport.i don't think you will need a jumbo passport.
4.please call back home and find out if your mum or dad has any x-rox copies off your old passport number, come on some one in the family would have a clue.like the receipt of your old passport.
5.you will be given you passport within 4 to 6 weeks it's got to be sent to india for prosessing i hope you know this.please go on to the passport web site and find out about it instead of getting slaged off here.
6.please let me know how you get on.and are you ok here for now,do you have a place to stay here.hope you will have your address here at hand when you go to the police here.
good luck ok and if your in trouble please try and get in touch with me.i will try and help you.good luck.

hi you first port of call is the police station.you have to report it lost, they will give you a crime number, you will need this if you have to apply for a new passport.you will need a driving licence or your birth certificate.you dont need to worry about your passport number as the pass port office can find that for you.hope this helps and good luck hope it turns up.x

Namasthey Hello,
Your birth certificate for starters, I would go to the Indian embassy and seek their advice. Did you emigrate to the UK or were you born here, have you got British citizenship and was your passport a British one or Indian. If UK passport then contact the office you got your passport from, can you remember when you applied for it and when it expires.

A drivers licence will help, any social security documents will also.

Good luck again.

Good luck mate
