Fairy Codswallop

I might be going to Portobello Road on Saturday, is it true that they have EVERYTHING! there?

If I do go, I'll be looking for a birthday present for me, but I'm quite indecisive, anyone got any ideas what I might get that would be quite unique? I'm not a girly girl though.

Depends what you're looking for - I wouldnt say they have everything there - lots of retro stuff though. Watch out for bag snatchers and pick pockets as well coz sadly they have lots of them there. Hope you find something nice x

Last time I went to Portobello, I saw Seal there (although I don't think he was for sale). I guess that qualifies as pretty much everything.

You can buy some nice art deco accessories for your house or maybe some funky vintage clothing.

More or less, yes. It is a wonderful market. Word of warning, keep your purse and your mobile phone safe and out of sight. It is a very busy market (loads of people) my friend got her handbag pinched once.

?
not quite everthing. you cant get me there. but then would you want to?

mum-2-be

There are antiques at the south end, clothes and brick a brac at the north.

You could get a mirror.

It is not especially cheap and Beware of Pickpockets!

carla s
have a good look around theres a big market

Angle
It is true in a sense that there is big market and one can purchase almost every thing but exceptions are always there so it depends what u want.

There is a Portobello Road in Edinburgh and towards the
the inner seashore there are lots of activity, swimming pool
fun park etc., and lots of people wandering around. I think
that nobody will be in the pool so it will be easy to meet
others. But I believe you are not bound North. Only telling
you in case you are.
