Problem solved...................
To phone the UK from most European countries the code is 00 44; then drop the first zero from the UK number so 0208 becomes 0044 208. To phone from the US the code is 011 44.
http://www.teletextholidays.co.uk/Ideas_and_destinations/Holiday_Advice_and_Tips/Overseas_handbook/When_you_are_there/Phoning_home/4732/Article.aspx

Brie...It would have helped if we knew what country you were phoning from.....saved all the confusion.

ps. Glasgow prefix is ..0141 and all UK no.s have 11 digits.
Phoning from Europe..00441411516728
Phoning from U.S........011441411516728

BOY...IS THIS NUMBER GOING TO GET SOME STICK.

International dialling codes:

From US: To dial overseas from U.S. you will need to first dial the US IDD code which is 011 followed with the overseas phone number including the country code.
Calling From: United States To: United Kingdom - 011 + 44 + Area Code+ Tel #

From Australia: To dial overseas from Australia you will need to first dial the Australia IDD code which is 0011 followed with the overseas phone number including the country code. Calling From: Australia To: United Kingdom - 0011 + 44 + Area Code+ Tel #

ita a glasgow no.00 44 41151....................,is the european dialling method dont know anout u.s.

Part of your number is missing.

04 prefixes are reserved in the UK - there are none as yet.

The UK prefix is 44, which leaves you a 4 short for this.

Check the number.

I tried the number and its not recognised - Glasgow number, would be 0141 ??? ????

♥lovableloz2542♥
To call the UK the prefix is +44 or 001144 and knock off the first zero.
For example if the number was 0412345678 it would be +4412345678 / 00114412345678.

Hope that helps!

Does putting a question mark at the end of a statement make it a question?

If so,I don`t understand the question/statement.

Plym
It is clear that you have an incomplete number. If you know the person you wish to contact, or the company, you might as well look up the correct number in a directory or on the internet.

That doesn't look like a UK landline number it's too small.
